At the Montana Rescue Mission, we have always believed in providing more than just a place to sleep; we offer hope, dignity, and a pathway to a better future. This month, we are thrilled to announce a significant step forward in our mission: completing 29 new low-income apartments above our existing shelter building in downtown Billings, Montana.
This new housing initiative is more than just an expansion; it is a response to our community’s growing need for affordable housing. With rental costs rising and housing availability tightening, many individuals and families are struggling to find stable, cheap places to call home. We recognized this need and acted—creating safe, welcoming spaces where individuals can transition from homelessness to long-term stability.
Each unit is available fully furnished. We want to ensure those coming to stay with us already have everything they need to steer their life in the directions that help them best. These units allow individuals and families to move from temporary shelter into stable, independent living.
This project would not have been possible without the incredible support of our community, donors, and volunteers. Through prayer, dedication, and generosity, we have created more than just housing—we have built a foundation for transformation. These apartments offer peace, stability, and a renewed sense of purpose. It is where they can heal, grow, and take steps toward self-sufficiency.

Together, we are not just providing shelter, we are offering a future filled with hope.
