History of  Montana Rescue Mission

Montana Rescue Mission continues to serve the needs of today while looking toward the future and is currently under construction, with completion projected for the end of 2024.

Executive Director

Matt Lundgren

Matt has over 25 years of experience in leadership roles. He currently serves as the Executive Director of Billings Leadership Foundation, Friendship House of Christian Service, and Montana Rescue Mission. His achievements include starting, operating, and growing multiple businesses.

Matt has increased the annual income at each organization and has launched four new social enterprises on the solid foundation of BLF. Additionally, Matt has spearheaded a capital campaign project for the Montana Rescue Mission to build a New $20 Million Campus.

His goal is to unite nonprofit organizations in Billings to work on improving our community and help them achieve their goals while supporting each other.

Does MRM help people find jobs?

Montana Rescue Mission is committed to helping individuals on their journey toward stability by offering comprehensive employment assistance to those it serves.

Recognizing the transformative power of employment in breaking the cycle of homelessness, we provide job readiness programs to equip individuals with the essential skills needed to navigate the job market successfully.
