Technical Writer

We are looking for a talented Technical Writer to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis. As a Technical Writer, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality technical documentation to support our various programs and initiatives. You will collaborate closely with the Executive Director and Development Team to gather information, write grants, and communicate concepts effectively to our target audience.

Direct Care Counselor

Montana Rescue Mission (MRM), located in Billings, Montana, is looking for Direct Care Counselors to make a difference in the lives of homeless and struggling people in our corner of Big Sky Country. Currently in the process of building a Unified Campus to bring community programs and services under one roof, MRM offers shelter, spiritual care, counseling, case management, medical care, life skills education, and job skills training. Our Direct Care Counselors are essential to helping our shelter guests feel cared for in a positive, safe and healthy environment.

Kitchen Cook

Looking to take your culinary skills to the next level? Join us as we help those in need by serving as a Cook at the Montana Rescue Mission. We are looking for a positive, creative, and organized experienced cook to prepare delicious food while showing love and compassion for homeless and hungry individuals—large-scale cooking experience required.

Program Director

Provide direction and leadership for all program departments to establish and achieve outcomes and goals according to Billings Leadership Foundation’s values, vision, and mission. Responsible for program staff, programs, content, processes, activities, and facilities. This position’s significant areas of responsibility are planning, implementing, directing, overseeing, and evaluating the programs of the Montana Rescue Mission and Friendship House of Christian Service. Under the direction of the Executive Director, seek to extend aspects of the programs and services of the MRM and FHCS into the community and the local church as a bridge to reach out to those who may otherwise not receive assistance and hope.

Operations Director

The Director of Operations is responsible for the development and oversight of all systems of BLF operational support as designated by the Executive Director. This includes programs, human resources, information technology, facilities, equipment leases and contracts, general support operations, corporate purchasing, and ensuring the good stewardship of BLF’s assets. Provide operational support to all facilities, departments, and programs.

Grant Writer

We are looking for a talented Grant Writer to join our team on full-time basis. As a Grant Writer, you will assist in the selection, planning, and submission of grant proposals to support the mission and vision of Billings Leadership Foundation (BLF) and its partners. Priorities include researching grant opportunities, developing, writing, and submitting grant proposals to grantors, reviewing grant budgets, and working with other staff in the maintenance of the grant proposal and research process.

Store Associate

The Montana Rescue Mission Bargain Center is looking for a Store Associate. This person should have a general understanding of all aspects of Store Operations. Be able to assist customers by providing excellent customer service and making sure that merchandise is handled, sorted, displayed, and sold in accordance with MRM standards.

Accounts Receivable

Under the general supervision of the Financial  Director, the AR Administrator will provide excellent service to ensure Billings Leadership Foundation is well-positioned to have accurate, timely, and detailed finance recordkeeping and financial data management.

Volunteer Coordinator

The Volunteer Coordinator oversees the recruitment, selection, training, orientation, evaluation, retention, and management of volunteers for the Billings Leadership Foundation legacy non-profit agencies: Montana Rescue Mission and Friendship House of Christian Service. He/she is responsible for duties related to volunteer management, such as identification, creation or updates, conducting presentations within the community, and training staff to work with volunteers. 

Food Service Manager

The Food Service Manager will ensure that all meals are prepared, portioned, and presented correctly. This position ensures all health and safety standards, properly portioned, are met along with all required documentation. Supervises and schedules kitchen staff. Resolves any internal or external complaints received. Responsible for preparing ingredients, producing nutritious meals, and cleaning workspaces daily to follow health and safety guidelines.
