A Campus Built with Purpose

As the spring sun warms the streets of Billings, Montana Rescue Mission (MRM) is preparing for a new season of hope, compassion, and transformation. This May, we are thrilled to announce the upcoming Grand Opening of our new Unified Campus.  This place will provide more than shelter; it will restore dignity, offer stability, and transform lives.

MRM has stood as a refuge for women, families, and men experiencing homelessness and crisis for decades. We have long dreamed of a facility that combines all our services under one roof, streamlining access to care, strengthening the community, and improving outcomes for those we serve.

That dream is now a reality.

The vision for a Unified Campus emerged from a simple truth: when services are fragmented, recovery becomes more challenging. By consolidating all areas of care into a single campus, guests will enjoy greater consistency, safety, and support. Staff and volunteers will work side by side more effectively, offering wraparound care that can adapt as our guests’ needs evolve.

The new Unified Campus is designed to address the unique and complex needs of the people we serve. Located in the heart of Billings, the campus will feature separate, dignified living spaces for men, women, and families, ensuring that everyone receives care tailored to their specific needs. Beyond beds and meals, the campus will offer:

  • On-site case management and life skills training
  • Access to mental health and addiction recovery services
  • Education and job readiness programs
  • Spiritual support and community connection

With these services, we honor the worth of every individual and give those in need a launchpad to rebuild their lives.

Join Us at the Grand Opening!

We invite our supporters, neighbors, and partners to join us for the upcoming Grand Opening celebration. Explore the new campus, meet the dedicated team, and witness firsthand how your support makes a lasting impact on lives.

Our Grand Opening event will take place on Tuesday, May 20th, from 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm, featuring tours, a recognition program, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony to conclude the event.  We promise it will be a day filled with gratitude, inspiration, and renewed commitment to serving those most in need.

Your Generosity Made This Possible

This milestone would not be possible without the prayers, donations, and faithful support of people like you. Thank you for believing in this mission and helping us create something that will enrich our community for generations to come.

Together, we’re opening new doors and new futures.

Doug Duckworth
