Golf Tournament Wrap Up

In the summertime each year, golfers prepare to hit the putting greens as they try to beat the competition and win golf tournaments across Billings. For Montana Rescue Mission, however, one golf tournament could change lives forever.

On August 23rd, 15 teams of golfers swung into action at the third annual Drives for Lives charity golf tournament. Using skill, mulligans, and a putt rope to lower their overall score, golfers turned out to raise money for Montana Rescue Mission. While our golfers won prizes like restaurant gift cards, prize bundles, and a free round of golf, our guests remain the true winners. Throughout the day, we raised over $23,000 to support our mission to end homelessness in Montana. Each dollar raised from the Drives for Lives event directly supports services for our guests to heal and transform their lives. Thank you to everyone who participated in our golf tournament and to our generous donors and volunteers who support our mission every day. Without you, change and transformation for our guests would not be possible.

While we await the completion of the Unified Campus and continue to provide meals, shelter, and services to end homelessness, the message of Jesus Christ remains at the forefront of our mission. Each meal, day of shelter, and resource given to our guests is one more way to spread the love and hope of the Good News. Here, God’s love and provision gives our guests tools for life-changing and long-lasting rehabilitation and hope.
