Does it cost to stay or eat at the MRM?
No. Staying or eating at one of our shelters is completely free of charge.
Are you ever full?
No. We will make room for everyone.
How long can someone stay at MRM?
Length of stay is dependent on the behavior and need of each individual guest and is handled on a case by case basis.
Do you have to attend chapel services to stay at MRM?
No, every guest is invited to attend our non-denominational service, but it is not a requirement.
Do you have to be Christian to stay at MRM?
No, all are welcome here.
Can an inebriated individual stay at the MRM?
No, we are sober living facility and recovery center. Under extreme weather conditions we will make reasonable accommodations to provide a safe shelter environment.
Does MRM help people with drug and alcohol rehabilitation?
Yes, we do provide rehabilitation services. Dependent upon the guests needs, we may also refer them to other agencies.
Do you have to stay at MRM to eat a meal?
No, the community dining room, located in the Men’s Shelter, is open to the public for lunch and dinner. In order to protect our guests, the Women and Children’s dining room is closed to the public.
Does MRM help people find jobs?
We work with local agencies, including the Job Service, to assist our guests in finding employment.
How is MRM funded?
MRM is exclusively funded through private donations. Each year individuals and organizations from Billings and surrounding communities give their time and financial resources to keep our ministries thriving.
How do MRM’s Bargain Centers fit into the ministry?
The Bargain Centers are an additional source of income for MRM. 100% of the net income from the Bargain Centers goes to the funding of the local shelters.
