GUEST SERVICES POSITIONS:  Montana Rescue Mission has immediate, Guest Services positions available in our shelter facilities.  Candidates must have excellent communication and customer service skills. This position requires computer experience with Microsoft Office skills. Food Services Manager:  The Montana Rescue Mission is seeking a full-time Food Services Manager.  There are three major areas of responsibility for this position: 1) supervision of personnel performing food preparation; 2) supervision of dining facility set up, utilization and clean up; 3) supervision of receiving, storage and distribution of purchased and donated food supplies.  The minimum requirements of this position are: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent culinary degree or 5 years’ experience in the institutional food industry; Current ServeSafe Certification; Current TB test/with negative results;  Valid Montana Driver’s License and ability to be insured by MRM insurer.  Occasional work related travel may be required.  Please download application and email to:  ethomas@montanarescuemission.org or apply in person at 2902 Minnesota Ave. between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m

Retail experience is desirable but not required. SUPPORT SERVICES:
Human Resource Manager: The Montana Rescue Mission is seeking a full-time Human Resource Manager.  Maintains and enhances the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs and practices.  Minimum Requirements: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Knowledge of payroll processing software, Strong oral and written communication skills, Ability to manage time effectively and work independently, Strong attention to details, Good organizational skills, Trustworthy with confidential material and information, Professional manner and appearance, Valid Montana Driver’s License and ability to be insured by MRM insurance carrier, Occasional travel may be required. Completion of a bachelor’s degree in business or related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 5 years related experience. Volunteer Coordinator:  The Montana Rescue Mission is seeking a full-time Volunteer Coordinator.  The primary responsibilities for this member of the Development team is for the recruitment, selection, training, orientation and recognition of volunteers. This position will work to strengthen the connection between volunteerism and being or becoming a partner donor and managing a middle donor caseload.  As a member of the Development Team, this position will conduct outreach in the community to solidify volunteer relationships and strengthen the Missions donor base through civic clubs, churches, and the business community. Candidates must be Proficient in Microsoft Office, database management and internet utilization. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are required. Ability to organize, prioritize and complete projects in a timely manner. Have the ability to work independently. Be Trustworthy with confidential material and information.  Valid Montana Driver’s License and ability to travel and be insured by MRM insurance carrier is required. Occasional work related travel may be required. 4 year degree in Communications or related field preferred. A minimum of 4 years related experience required. Receptionist:  The Montana Rescue Mission is seeking a part-time receptionist. The receptionist position will be responsible for general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks performed in a timely, high quality, and effective manner so that the ministry objectives of the Montana Rescue Mission can be supported. General duties include greeting guests, answering incoming calls, directing calls and traffic to appropriate associates, mail distribution, and flow of correspondence, inventory and requisition of supplies, filing, as well as additional clerical duties. Additional sought after attributes are a friendly and positive attitude, ability to organize, prioritize, and complete projects in a timely manner, and accuracy and thoroughness in own work to ensure quality. High School diploma or GED required. Administrative Assistant:  The Montana Rescue Mission is accepting applications for an Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant will perform administrative duties primarily for executive management as well as assisting in general Ministry Support Services so that the ministry objectives of the Montana Rescue Mission can be realized.
Responsibilities may include screening calls, making travel and meeting arrangements, preparing reports and financial data, training and supervising other support staff, and customer relations. Additional duties include the support of Information Technology (IT) systems throughout the ministry, including database management for donor, accounting, and guest databases & related software.
Requires strong computer and organizational skills as well working knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.  Also calls for flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.
Associate’s degree or equivalent form of education equivalent to a two-year college or technical school; 3 years’ experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified above.  Prior executive support experience strongly preferred. FACILITIES MAINTENANCE:   The Montana Rescue Mission has immediate openings for maintenance/ custodial positions. Under the direction of the Maintenance/Custodial Supervisor, the Maintenance/Custodial worker will perform general upkeep and minor repairs of Montana Rescue Mission (MRM) facilities. Duties include janitorial upkeep of buildings as scheduled, inventory and supply management, basic vehicle maintenance, and general repair as required. Ideal candidates will have experience in maintenance, mechanical, or construction trade. Basic mathematical skills, English comprehension, and the ability to be insured through our vehicle insurer required.
