To provide a safe, clean, Christian environment where we can help our guests and emergency needs in our community by providing; quality clothing, furniture, house wares and large appliances. To provide goods at affordable prices to the public and help support the Montana Rescue Mission financially.
The Mission Bargain Center Ministry locations in Billings are located at the corner of South 29th Street and 1st Ave. South; 635 Wicks Lane in the Heights and at 1233 24th Street West. The Bargain Center ministry began as a way to more efficiently handle and utilize the donation of non-food, non-cash items that the MRM was receiving. If a resident or guest at the Men's Mission or the Women's and Family Shelter has a need for something that has been picked up by the Bargain Center, it will be used there first. If a member of the community has an emergency need, we can supply that need at no charge through our Community Outreach Ministry. The Community Outreach Ministry is fully funded through the sales of our Bargain Center Ministry. Any items not distributed in any of these areas are offered for sale to the public. If the item cannot be given away or sold, we attempt to recycle it. The Bargain Centers are also a work site for people doing community service in lieu of fines and young people involved in HRDC, WEX, and CORE work programs. Vern Turner is the General Manager of the Mission Store Ministries and can be reached at (406)259-3800 or email him at mrmbcvern@180com.net.
