Bargain Centers

The goal of our Bargain Center’s is to offer a safe, clean, Christian environment where we can serve our guests and respond to emergency needs in our community by providing quality clothing, furniture, housewares and appliances. We also offer items for sale, at affordable prices, to the public which provides vital financial resources to support the Montana Rescue Mission.

Our two Bargain Center locations provide essential support for the life-changing programs of the Montana Rescue Mission. Last year the Bargain Centers’ financial support covered over 30 percent of the cost to run our shelters and meal program.

Our History

The Bargain Center ministry began as a way to more efficiently handle and utilize the in-kind donations from the generous Billings community. Guests at the Men’s Shelter or the Women & Children’s Shelter that are in need of clothing or furniture, may obtain them through the Bargain Center.

For your convenience, we have secure donation boxes for non-breakable items to be left after hours.

To receive a receipt or for larger and breakable donations, items can be dropped off at both stores Monday-Saturday 9:00am – 3:00.
Due to the generosity of our community, there are times that we may have to close the donation drop off to ensure the donations are brought into the building prior to the store closing.  To make sure your trip to our store is successful; we encourage you to call in advance. Also, for larger items, such as furniture or large appliances, you can call the store closest to you and arrange for a pickup of your donation.

The Westend store, located at 1233 24 th Street West, can be reached at 406.652.7340

The Heights store, located at 1321 Main Street, can be reached by calling 406.245.3050

You will receive a donation receipt which can be used for income tax purposes to the extent allowed by law.
